Start the day with a slap-up brunch of your choice before settling down with a book, movie or whatever you like. You could even spend the day making a scrapbook or memory jar to document the crazy year that has been 2020.

Okay, we get it, the fact there won’t be any New Year’s Eve party this year is pretty devastating. In the words of Love Island 2019, it is what it is. Try to make the most of it and get you and your mates together for a virtual party.
You’re probably sick of quizzes by the end of this year so why not mix things up a bit. Decorate your home with balloons and confetti, get dressed up, and throw a cocktail making party by video call. You and your mates can have a competition as to who can make the best version of several cocktails. Why not create a New Year’s resolution board where everyone can share their goals for 2021? Or, have a painting competition to see who can create the best image that represents the past year.
